AIKIDO CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

ZETARZETAR

The Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei was formed in April 2005 by Shaun Hoddy and Greg Barton to promote the style of Tomiki Aikido, be non-political and friendly whilst maintaining high technical standards. ZETAR is a member of the British Aikido Board as an independent organisation affiliated to the Aikido Development Society. ZETAR includes clubs in both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.


ZETARGenryukan Aikido

Genryukan Aikido, Dover was founded in 2009 by Christophe Courtin and Phil Eyers. It is run as a not for profit club and operates under the auspices of Shaun Hoddy 6th Dan and Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei (ZETAR).


Gowaryu AikidoGowaryu Aikido

The GOWA RYU, which translated means “Five Ring System”, has been training in Ashford, Kent, since 2004. It was founded by Jim Dempster, nidan and is a member of ZETAR.


Mushin no Shin AikidoMushin No Shin Aikido

Mushin No Shin, founded by Julian Goldsmith Sensei, is located in Fokestone, Kent and is a member of ZETAR.


ZETARShoshinkan Aikido

Shoshinkan School of Traditional Tomiki Aikido is located in Canvey Island. It is lead by Shaun Hoddy and Greg Barton, founders of ZETAR.


Meikyokai AikidoMeikyokai Aikido

Meikyokai Dojo teaches the Japanese martial art of Aikido with venues in Bexley and Swanley in Kent/SE London. Under the technical guidance of Robert Mustard Sensei, 7th Dan Yoshinkan Aikido, they offer both adult and children classes which cater for all level’s of ability as well as for the more experienced martial artist looking to train in Aikido.


London AikidoLondon Aikido

Over the past ten years London Aikido club has grown to become one of the largest Aikido clubs with in it’s Association & the UK. It is located in Rotherhithe, London and is lead by Tony Evangelou.


Shoshinkan AikidoThanet Martial Arts

Thanet Martial Arts Centre (Thanet Judo Kwai) is a full time martial arts practise facility in Margate. They offer classes in Judo, Aikido, Bujinkan Taijutsu and Karate, all taught by insured instructors properly qualified in their own arts
